Growing up within an entrepreneurial family has inspired and pushed me to learn and understand different kinds of business environments and issues. My curiosity in these topics led me to studying in Aalto University, School of Business. I have always been a self-driven person, eager to push the boundaries of my comfort zone. I chose Information Service Management as my major, because it allowed me to combine both technological and business topics together. During my studies I became very interested in combining psychology with technology, so I ended up including organisational psychology studies into my master’s degree.
Where have you earned your spurs?
I was working for the communication consultancy Ellun Kanat when COVID-19 hit the Finnish markets. Due to the challenging market situation, I started working with sales-related cases and tried to find new business opportunities. I learned a lot more about B2B-sales and how to start building trust-based relationships with new potential clients in a more systematic way. In addition to this, I was working on multiple strategy projects in which the importance of technological capabilities to build competitive edges in today's markets was often a focus. That experience gave me a holistic perspective to being able to see digital sales and marketing as a coherent part of many businesses.

What makes your heart beat a little faster?
For the past 6 years I have played professional football. My dedication to the sport has pretty much ruled my personal life! The media always glorifies the life of an athlete, but the day-to-day work is quite challenging. After playing team sports for over 15 years, I have learnt to be a true team player who is committed to achieving common goals. Besides football, I love dogs, cooking and being out in nature. There is no better getaway than spending a night in the middle of the forest with my lovely 1-year-old Australian shepherd.
