Professor Peter Fader

 

Professor of Marketing – The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania

 

Professor Fader's expertise centres around the analysis of behavioural data to understand and forecast customer shopping behaviour. He works with firms from a wide range of industries, such as telecommunications, financial services, entertainment, retailing, and pharmaceuticals. 

 

With extensive research, two published books on customer-centricity, and a successful exit from a customer analytics company Zodiac (acquired by Nike), Dr Fader is one of the biggest thought leaders in the area of customer analytics. In 2017, he was named by Advertising Age as one of its 25 Marketing Technology Trailblazers.

Erik is currently the mastermind and pioneer of the first retail membership-based brand, Singular Society. His wide-ranging experience in Sweden, UK & the United States across the fashion industry, from H&M to NET-A-PORTER to Amazon Fashion, has given him a unique overview of the industry and the challenges it faces.

Erik joins the event to share his learnings and best practices on distruptive business models and the role of creativity and design in digital commerce.

With his deep understanding of the Swedish ecommerce market, the trends, solutions and consumer expectations and behaviour, Peter joins the event to share his thoughts and knowledge on client-focused retail at large, physical as well as online.
