The highly experimental program was an uncut diamond of novel teaching methods underlining teamwork, independent problem solving, IT, and communications.

“I feel like I’m back home at Columbia Road”

Juho was headhunted straight from school to a small strategy consultancy Synocus. After a few years of number crunching and concept development he moved on to work at Sininen Meteoriitti, which proved out to be an excellent place to learn about product driven IT work. After some time, Juho decided he wanted to work for a global enterprise – next up: Accenture! He spent years working with extremely motivated and intelligent people in challenging global projects.

“I had headhunters call me day in day out, and I realised there was a need for my know-how. Seeing Columbia Road’s content on my social media had piqued my interest and I decided to give you a call. I just felt it was the right thing for me. I was sure it would be something totally different – and boy have I been right! I took a leap of faith and it paid off. I also feel that here I have the opportunity to help others grow and I really treasure that,” Juho says.

He’s worked with major multinational companies and guided them to make choices which will affect their business for the next years and even decades to come. He’s truly a master of the long view. That’s not to say Juho’s not great at day-to-day operations. When Juho is not helping businesses to grow, he’s focused on being the best dad in the world. He has two sons, for whom he tries to set the right example and give the best tools for life. “It’s the same in business. I try to help people understand their potential and reach it.”
